Connect the 3.5mm Stereo jack plug to the heaphone socket of a 
personal CD player, personal cassette player or any audio item where 
listening without headphones is required; adjust the volume control on the audio source to the desired listening level. 
Remember not to connect the speakers to any LINE output sockets as this will result in no sound from the speakers.

Your passive speakers will provide years of trouble-free service if you connect it to the proper power source, handle it gently 
and care for it as described below. If the system is not working properly, have it checked by a qualified service technician.

Care Tips & Safety Instructions

1.  Read these safety instructions carefully.
2.  Keep this User’s Manual for later reference.
3.  Always disconnect this equipment from AC power before cleaning.  Keep dry and free of excess dust.  Do not use liquid or 

harsh detergent for cleaning.  Do not spray any cleaners directly on the equipment, use a soft, moist cloth for cleaning.  Do 
not use benzene, thinner or a volatile substance for cleaning.  Such substances can permanently damage the finish.

4.  Do not expose this equipment to excessive humidity.
5.  Position this equipment on a secure surface.  A drop or fall could cause injury.
6.  All cautions and warnings on the equipment should be noted.
7.  If the equipment will not be used for an extended period of time, disconnect the equipment from the power source to avoid 

being damaged by transient voltage.

8.  Never pour any liquid into openings, this could cause fire or electrical shock.
9.  If one of the following situations arises, have the equipment checked by a qualified service technician:

a. The power cord or plug is damaged.
b. Liquid has penetrated into the equipment.
c. The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
d. The equipment does not work well or you can not get it to work according to user’s manual.
e. The equipment has dropped and damaged.
f.  If the equipment has obvious sign of breakage.

10. Do not leave this equipment in storage temperatures below -20˚C (-4˚F) or above 60˚C (140˚F), as it may damage the 

equipment.

11. The sound pressure level at the operator’s position according to IEC 704-1:1982 is equal or less than 70dB (A).
