PXH64 OVERVIEW

 

 

The NEXT PXH64 Mid/High element is  pa

rt of the PX system.  The NEXT PXH64  was  enginee

red to be a powerful medium  to  long-  throw, mid/h

igh frequency cabinet in  a  coaxial  configuration, co

vering the  frequency  range  from 150Hz up to 19kH

z.To obtain  the  highest  possible on-axis sound pres

sure levels  and clear   and intelligible sound reprodu
ction  over long  distances, the PXH64 mid/high unit i

s  entirely  horn-loaded. The coaxial arrangement of 
the  High Frequency CD horn and the  Mid Frequenc

speaker (also horn-loaded) creates a precise  

coverage  pattern  of  60

quency range from 400Hz -  17kHz,  ensuring  equal 

sound within the coverage area. The HF range 

from 1.150kHz upwards is reproduced by  a Neodymium

driver with a

coverage  in the mid-range  from  150Hz to  1.25kHz   is 

provided by a low power compression

CABLE SELECTING

 

 

Selecting a cable consists of calculating the correct cable section (size) in relation to the  l

oad impedance and the required cable length. A small cable section will increase its serial  resist
ance, which will induce power-loss and response variations (damping factor). 

The following table indicates, for 3 common sizes, a cable length with a maximum serial  

resistance equal to 4% of the load impedance (damping factor = 25):

PXH64 개요 

PXH64 미드/하이 스피커는 PX 시스템의 일부로 동축 설계 된 롱스루 미

드/하이 주파수 캐비닛을 위한 강력한 매체로 제작되었으며 150Hz에서 

최대 19kHz에 달하는 주파수 범위를 커버한다. 가능한 가장 높은 축 중심

의 음압레벨과 먼 거리상에서 깨끗하고 이해하기 쉬운 음향재생을 위해 

PXH64 미드/하이 스피커는 완전한 혼로드 스피커이다. 고주파수 CD혼

과 미드 주파수 12인치 스피커(역시 혼로드)의 동축 방식은 

400Hz~17kHz에 이르는 주파수 범위에서 수평 60도, 수직 40도의 정확

한 커버리지 패턴을 만들고 커버리지 지역 내에서 동등한 사운드를 보장

한다. 150Hz 에서 1.25kHz에 이르는 미드레인지 혼 커버리지가 저출력 

압축 12인치 드라이버에 의해 구동되는 반면, 1.150kHz 이상의 HF 범위

는 3인치 보이스코일과 콘스턴트 Q혼과 네오디뮴 1.4인치 드라이버에 의

해 구동된다. 스피커를 여러 대 사용하여 가로로 스택하거나 플라잉하면 

더 넓은 커버리지를 얻을 수 있다.  

 

 

 

 

케이블 선택 

케이블을 선택하는 것은 로드임피던스와 필요 케이블 길이에 대한 정확한 케이블 섹션(크기)를 계산하는 것이다. 작은 케이블 섹션은 

직렬저항을 증가시키는데 이는 전력손실이나 응답차(댐핑팩터)를 유발시킨다.  

아래 도표는 3개의 일반 사이즈에 대해 4% 로드임피던스와 동등한 최대 직렬저항을 가진 케이블 길이를 보여준다. (댐핑팩터=25):
