You can use these large monitors to sample the video feed from any source by selecting it button
on the corresponding
Switcher row, but they are handy in other ways too. Among other things,
they provide a convenient view for adjusting LiveMatte settings or LiveSet effects.
The Scopes tab is particularly useful for calibrating video signals.
1. Click the Scopes monitor tab.
2. Choose a suitable video source for FX , by clicking its button in the Utility Delegate
group, and making a selection on the Utility row .
3. Use the drop-down menu in the titlebar of the video monitor in the Scopes pane to
select
FX as the source for the two scopes at left.
4. Hover the mouse over the video (FX) monitor, and then click the Configure button
(gear) above to display the settings affecting the current FX video source.
4.4 AUDIO MIXER
Having previously connected and configured your audio inputs, let’s explore a few of the other
features in the two Audio mixer tabs. You will need to have speakers connected to (at least) the
first two connectors (channel 1 and 2) in the
PGM row of TriCaster’s Analog Audio Out section
(even better, if you have them handy, connect a pair of stereo headphones and put them on).
4.4.1 MUTE, MONO AND BALAN CE
1. Click the Sound tab.
2. Click the Add button in the Sound pane.
3. Click the Practice Session entry under the heading Audio in the Location list at left (this
Location was created when we imported files back in Section 4.2, Importing Content).
