Further, onscreen monitors provide popup contextual controls including things like Play or Stop

In this configuration, the left section of the Live Desktop’s monitoring pane displays two larger
monitors. These show just the video sources currently selected for
FX , and a Look Ahead
Preview monitor (we’ll discuss the features of the Preview monitor a bit later, in the section on
Transition controls).
Hint: These larger monitors do not feature interactive switching functions.
