The control panels for Inputs 2 and 3 differ somewhat from Input 1. This is because the second
and third rows of connectors in the
Analog Audio In group on TriCaster’s faceplate are different
than the first row. Rather than two combination XLR/Phone connectors, rows 2 and 3 comprise
¼” four phone jacks.
For this reason the Connection Type drop-down for Input 2 and 3 contains fewer options as
follows:
1. Line
2. AES/EBU
3. SDI Embedded
Most of the controls and options in the audio control panels common, but Talk, Pan, Trim and
Link (all discussed earlier) are unique to Input 1 .
