4.2 FST-2-Controller
All common types of cable and hydraulic lifts can be operated using the
FST-2-Controller. The pre-assembled FST-2-Controller can easily be
adapted to any individual lift system on site using the FST menu. New
software versions can be installed at any time via the PC-Card slot without
changing system-specific settings.
Components and features of the FST-2-Controller:
Components:
- FST-2 main circuit board with separate processors for call processing,
drive control and bus management
- Integrated repeater for electrical isolation of shaft bus and car bus
- RS-585 / RS-422 / RS-232 controller interfaces for communication with
drive regulators
- Encoder interface for connecting common absolute value and
incremental encoders
- Flash memory and battery-buffered RAM for error memory with up to
100 entries
- PC-Card / PCMCIA slot for using memory cards
- RS-232 modem interface for remote data transmission, FAX and PAM
functions
- RS-232 PC interface (laptop on site)
- LC-Display with 4 × 20 characters (ASCII character set)
- Keypad for intuitive navigation in main menu and test menu
- 8 programmable inputs and outputs on the FST-2 main circuit board
- 72 programmable inputs and outputs on additional RIO Modules
