User defined
error messages
The FST-2-Controller enables the output of arbitrary error and event
messages This means that any error message provided by the FST
software can be assigned a programmable input/output. This enables
forwarding of user defined error states to the outside world.
Programming
Programming of the inputs and outputs is done in the FST menu under
MAIN MENU - Configuration - I\O Configuration.
The
following submenus are available:
Setting the RAW register
The RAW register is an eight digit hexadecimal value coding a 32-bit
register. With the RAW register, a function from the function table
(page 151) can be assigned to the respective terminal. Furthermore, active
state, signal direction and function parameters are set in the RAW register.
