7 - MAINTENANCE
Pre-fuel filter
NOTE:
Change the pre-fuel filter after the first 50 hours of
operation, then following every 300 operating hours there-
after.
NOTICE:
In extreme dusty/dirty environments, it is rec-
ommended to visually inspect the pre-fuel filter every 100
hours of operation for contamination and replacement at
every 200 hours.
1. Close off the fuel inlet hose
(1)
and outlet hose
(2)
at
the fuel filter.
2. Remove the pre-fuel filter
(3)
from the retaining clip.
3. Install new fuel filter into retaining clip. .
4. Reinstall inlet and outlet hoses onto the filter.

NOTE:
There is not a fuel shutoff valve in the fuel system. To stop the fuel flow from the fuel tank, the fuel inlet hose
to the fuel filter has to be removed from the fuel filter base and a plug installed or the fuel hose needs to be crimped
shut to shutoff the fuel flow.
