Final drive chain tank oil

The final drive chain tank oil should be checked every

500 h

of operation.

1. Park the machine on a firm level surface.

2. Clean the area around the chain tank fill/level plug

(1)

3. Remove the chain tank fill/level plug

(1)

. The oil should

be up to the bottom of the inspection orifice.

4. Add oil if necessary.

5. Replace the chain tank fill/level plug

NOTE:

Use

OCTITE

® 545™

or an equivalent product on

the threads of the plug.

6. Repeat this procedure for the other side.
