If your ISP uses numbered (inter face-based) routing, select
Local WAN IP Address
and enter the local WAN
address your ISP gave you. Then select
Local WAN IP Mask
and enter the WAN subnet mask of the remote
site you will connect to.
The default address is 0.0.0.0, which allows for dynamic addressing, meaning that your ISP assigns an
address via DHCP each time you connect. However, if you want to use static addressing, enter a specific
address.
