General Machine information page

Smar tView uses tabbed pages to categorize information and reduce the amount of information displayed at
once. Click on the tabs to display the different informational categories.

In addition to the static machine information about your router, such as model and firmware version, Smar tView
displays a real-time visual representation of the Netopia R9100’s status lights (LEDs). This is par ticularly
useful if the router is located out of visual range, such as in a wiring closet.

Event history pages

The Netopia R9100 records cer tain relevant occurrences in event histories. Event histories are useful for
diagnosing problems because they list what happened before, during, and after a problem occurs. You can view
two different event histories: one for the router’s system and one for the WAN. The Netopia R9100’s built-in
batter y backup prevents loss of event histor y from a shutdown or reset.
