VDSL Voice Gateway
Control the Syslog
To control the syslog:
1.
Launch a web browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to the
network.
2.
Type
http://routerlogin.net
or
http://10.0.0.2
.
A login screen displays.
3.
Enter the gateway user name and password.
The user name is
admin
. The default password is
admin
. The user name and password
are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home screen displays.
4.
Select
ADVANCED >
Administration > Logs
.
5.
Scroll down to the Syslog section of the screen.
6.
To disable the syslog, select the
Disable
radio button.
7.
To broadcast the syslog, select the
Broadcast on LAN
radio button.
8.
To send the syslog to a syslog server, select the
Send to this Syslog server IP address
and type the IP address in the corresponding field.
9.
Click the
Apply
button.
Your settings are saved.
Manage the Gateway Configuration File
The configuration settings of the gateway are stored within the gateway in a configuration file.
You can back up (save) this file to your computer, restore it, or reset it to the factory default
settings.
Back Up the Gateway’s Configuration Settings
To back up the gateway’s configuration settings:
1.
Launch a web browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to the
network.
2.
Type
http://routerlogin.net
or
http://10.0.0.2
.
A login screen displays.
