•
Make sure that your LTE provider account is active.
•
Check to see if the router gets better access to the mobile broadband signal if you
move the router closer to a window or higher up in your home.
For information about the signal strength, see Check the signal strength of the mobile
broadband connection on page 154.
•
Check to see if your LTE provider is experiencing network problems. It might not be
that the router cannot connect to the Internet, but rather that your LTE provider
cannot provide an Internet connection.
•
You might need to change the APN (see Change the LTE provider’s access point
name on page 24). Contact your LTE provider.
Note: If you call your LTE provider, they might want you to provide information about
your mobile broadband connection. For detailed information, see Check the mobile
broadband Internet connection status on page 108 and Display Internet port statistics
on page 111.
The router and satellite do not sync
If you are experiencing difficulty syncing the router and the satellite, we recommend
that you move the satellite into the same room as the router during the sync. Then move
the satellite to a different location.
To sync the router and the satellite:
1. Place the satellite in the same room as the Orbi router.
Use this satellite location only during the sync process.
2. Connect the satellite to a power source.
3. If the Power LED on the back of the satellite does not light and if the satellite has a
Power On/Off button, press the Power On/Off button.
4. Wait for the satellite’s ring LED to light solid white or magenta.
5. Press the Sync button on the router and then within two minutes, press the Sync
button on the satellite.
6. Wait for the satellite to sync with the router.
