To set up FTP access through the Internet:
1.
Launch a web browser from a WiFi-enabled computer or mobile device that is connected to the network.
2.
Enter http://www.routerlogin.net.
A login window opens.
3.
Enter the modem router user name and password.
The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are
case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays.
4.
Select ReadySHARE.
The USB Storage (Basic Settings) page displays.
5.
Click the Edit button.
The page adjusts.
6.
Select the FTP (via internet) check box.
7.
Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
8.
To limit access to the admin user, do the following:
a.
In the Available Network Folders list, select the device.
If only one device is connected, it is automatically selected.
b.
Click the Edit button.
The Edit Network Folder page displays.
c.
In the Read Access menu, select admin.
The default setting is All - no password.
d.
In the Write Access menu, select admin.
The default setting is All - no password.
e.
Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
f.
Click the Close Window button.
The pop-up window closes.
Use FTP to Access Storage Devices Through the Internet
If you attached a storage device to the modem router, before you can access the storage device through
the Internet with FTP, you must first set it up (see
Set Up FTP Access Through the Internet
on page 130).
