3.7. Internal SAS Interface Modules
The system compromises four internal SAS interface modules.
TO AVOID SEVERE SYSTEM OVERHEATING, ALL PROCEDURES ON THIS SEC-
TION SHOULD BE PERFORMED WITHIN 10 MINUTES.
3.7.1. Removing an ISIM
To remove an ISIM, do as follows:
1. Press on the edge of the ISIM handle and push the handle into the open position.
To avoid damaging the ISIM, support the module whith the second hand when
pulling out of the system.
2. Hold the handle and pull the ISIM or blank out of the system.

3.7.2. Installing an ISIM
To install an ISIM, do as follows:
1. Position the ISIM LED display facing the corresponding ISIM letter marked on the chassis.
To avoid damaging the ISIM, support the assembly whith the second hand when in-
stalling to the system.
2. Gently insert the ISIM into the system.
