COM 3/ 4 Port Configuration
The system’s
ports support RS-232 (full-duplex) and to enable it, COM 2
must be set to RS-232 mode. Another option in COM port’s BIOS setting is called HS
(High Speed) and when enabled, the input clock for baud rate generator is multiply
by 8. The maximum baud rate would reach up to 921,600 bps.
To enable COM/ 3/ 4 operating mode:
1.
Press
F2
when the system boots up to enter the BIOS setup utility.
2.
Go to
[Advanced]
[Peripheral Configuration]
.
3.
Highlight the COM port (3 or 4) and set it to <Enabled> .
4.
Once set, press
F10
to save setting and exit.
