3.5 Install 2.5” HDD/SSD

Nuvo-6000 provides totally three SATA ports. Nuvo-6032 can accommodate three 2.5”

SATA hard drives and Nuvo-6002 can only accommodate one due the restriction of chassis

size. In this section, we illustrate how to install 2.5” SATA HDD/SSD to your Nuvo-6000

controller.

3.5.1 Install 2.5” HDD/SSD to SATA Port #1

SATA port #1 is located on the SBC via a 22-pin SATA connector. You can directly mount a

2.5” HDD/SSD to this port using the HDD bracket shipped with Nuvo-6000.

1. Follow instructions described in section 3.1.1 to remove the chassis cover. You can

see the SATA port #1 on the SBC.

2. Get the HDD bracket from the accessory box and fix the HDD to the bracket using four

M3, F-head screws.
