Do not use under the age of 16.
Thank you for purchasing the Lishinu, the most stylish and advanced retractable auto-stop leash in the world. We hope our Lishinu provides you and your cherished pet
many hours of enjoyment. Because this leash is retractable, it requires special precautions to reduce the risk of injury. Everyone who uses this leash must read this
pamphlet before use. Please save it for future reference. Lishinu can be used for a dog with the maximum weight of 30kg. Important: maximum load allowed is 70kg.

Before each use, make sure that all parts of the leash and your dog´s collar are in good.
Inspect leash and collar before each use.
Attaching Lishinu with wrist strap
Attached to your Lishinu is a strong wrist strap, which ensures your hands remain free at all times. To attach the Lishinu onto your arm, place your hand through the
strap loop and pull the large hand loop towards the direction of your thumb, until the strap fits tightly being your wrist. If necessary, slide the Lishinu until it is comfortably
placed on your arm.
Attaching Lishinu to your pet
Attach the metal clasp of the leash to the D-
shaped ring of your dog´s collar. Attaching the leash to any other part of the collar can cause it to detach and make backlash
more likely. Never attach it to your dog´s ID tag ring. The ID tag ring is not strong enough and will break! Make sure that the clasp is fully closed and securely attached to
the collar D-ring.
Detaching Lishinu
Ensure your dog is fully under your control. Hold the leash before detaching the clasp from the collar. This is important to prevent backlash injuries.
Removing Lishinu in case of an emergency
We made sure that the Lishinu is also very simple to remove in case of emergencies. The wrist strap can be removed at any time just by pulling the safety (red) belt.
Using your Lishinu
1. TO OPERATE YOUR LISHINU:
Place the Lishinu firmly around your wrist. Never grab the rope when attempting to control your dog, instead always pull back your hand to activate auto-stop mechanism
or grab the hand loop when needed. The leash rope will spool in and out freely without sagging. Your Lishinu will automatically brake, if your dog pulls too quickly or
attempts to run or lunge. Your Lishinu will stay locked until your dog releases the tension on the leash rope. To keep the leash locked when the automatic brake has
activated, simply keep the tension on the rope by applying constant/firm pull with your hand, or grab the leash by the hand loop when you want to keep your dog next to
you.
The automatic brake feature of your Lishinu is designed to give an extra measure of security in case your dog unexpectedly tries to run or bolt. It is not a substitute for
paying close attention to your pet at all times. If you encounter a situation that may entice your pet to run or bolt, such as another dog or other animal or person, you
should immediately grab the leash by the hand loop until the object of curiosity is no longer present.
Always hold the leash by the hand loop firmly in your hand when near moving cars, people, pets, baby strollers, or any other sources of potential interest to your pet!
To bring your dog nearer, follow these steps and never touch the leash rope:
Extend your arm towards your dog and quickly pull back your arm (pull gently and use your voice to entice the dog).
Step toward your dog and at the same time move your arm towards yourself (if necessary grab the leash by the hand loop).
Release already activated auto-stop mechanism by gently swinging/moving your arm towards the dog.
What to do if the leash rope gets wet
Pull the rope out of the leash housing as far as it will go. Allow it to dry completely out of reach of children. Once the rope is dry, carefully and slowly retract the leash
rope back into the housing. You are more likely to get injured by the rope when it is wet, so be careful if it is wet. Do not use the Lishinu in salty or deep water (like sea,
lakes and rivers or streams). In case of rope getting submerged in salt water or salt getting into the housing, immediately rinse with fresh water (in this case,
manufacturer is not responsible for any damage or malfunction).
2. CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
Because this leash is retractable, it requires added precautions to reduce the risk of injury. Read these Cautions and Warnings before using your Lishinu, and save them
for future reference. Even small dogs can pull hard enough to injure you, especially because the length of the leash allows dogs to run and build up speed.
Is this leash right for your dog? Do not use this leash with a disobedient or uncontrollable dog, since they are more likely to wrap the rope around people or themselves,
or run off at high speeds. Train your dog on a regular short leash (6ft or less
– 1.8m or less) before attempting to use the Lishinu. Only use this leash with a dog that
does not exceed the weight limit for the leash, as specified in this manual. If the rope wraps around your finger, hand, or body, and your dog pulls on the leash, you risk
serious injury, including but not limited to amputation. If the rope is wrapped around you, even small dogs may pull hard enough to injure you. Follow all precautions even
with a small dog!
Who can use this leash? This leash should only be used by responsible adults who have read and can follow all instructions and warnings.
Anyone who uses this leash must be able to control the dog and watch the dog closely at all times. You must prevent the rope from wrapping around any object or
person. Keep out of reach of small children. If children play with the leash rope, they could become entangled and seriously injured. Never let anyone use this leash as a
toy.
Consider your surroundings: You can use your Lishinu anywhere you would normally go with your dog. While retractable leashes are designed to give your dog more
freedom while on a leash, in some circumstances extra caution is necessary. For example, if you are indoors, or near people, other animals, vehicles, or other
distractions that may cause your dog to run suddenly, you should always manually hold the leash. In those situations, even with the automatic brake feature of the
lishinu, you should have your pet next to you, the leash rope retracted, and your hand holding the leash by the hand loop. You may want to consider using a regular non-
retractable leash in these circumstances. Remember when the leash is fully extended you do not have the same control over your dog. Be aware of traffic and keep your
dog under control and close by when walking on the sidewalk or in an urban settings. Even though your dog seems under control, he can easily run into the street with
the leash extended (please refer to paragraph „Injury to Bystanders“). Use leash only as intended. Follow the „Directions“ section in this pamphlet. Never attach more
than one dog to one leash. Never use more than one Lishinu at a time. Never attach any accessories to the leash unless it is sold or approved by Lishinu.
3. BACKLASH (EYE AND FACE) INJURIES
If your dogs collar breaks, or the leash disconnects from your dog's collar, the rope and metal clasp can backlash with enough force to cause serious injuries, broken
teeth, cuts, bruises, etc., particularly to the face and eyes. Follow the instructions for inspecting, attaching and de
taching the leash in the „Directions“ section of this
pamphlet.
