Installing or removing saw chain

before installing or removing the saw chain.

Always wear gloves when installing or removing the saw chain.
Adjusting saw chain tension
When the chain becomes loose, completely unscrew the auto-tensioning knob
counter clockwise. Then retighten the auto-tensioning knob to reset the chain
tension.
Fully turn the auto-tensioning knob clock wise until it is tightly attached. The
proper chain tension will be set automatically.
The correct chain tension is reached when the chain can be be raised
approx.3-6mm from the chain bar in the center(the chain links should just remain
in the bar track).
The saw chain may become loose after many hours of use. From time to time
check the saw chain tension before use.
