Activated carbon ilter:
For neutralizing odours in recirculating mode.
Caution:
As the ilter becomes more and more saturated with
grease, there is an increased risk of ire and the
function of the hood may be impaired.
Important:
Change the activated carbon ilter promptly to pre
-
vent the risk of ire from the accumulation of heat
when deep-fat frying or roasting.
These ilters are not washable and cannot be regen
-
erated, and must be replaced approximately every
year of operation, or more frequently with heavy
usage.
Replacing the activated carbon ilter

Unhook the ilter-holding grid (see “Removing
and inserting metal self- supporting grease
ilters
”).
q
Remove the saturated activated carbon ilter by
releas-ing the ixing hooks.
q
Fit the new ilter by hooking it into its seating.
q
Hook the ilter-holding grid (see “Removing and
inserting metal self- supporting grease ilters
”).
Disposal of the old activated carbon ilter:
q
Activated carbon ilters do not contain any
harmful substances. They can be disposed of
as residual waste.
