Start and control unit
E-PAK 150 DX/300 DX/500 DX has a start and control unit, see Figure 12. For
information about the different terminals, see the terminal connection diagrams
in Figure 25 (E-PAK 150 DX) and Figure 24 (E-PAK 300 DX/500 DX).
NOTE!
E-PAK 150 DX has a simplified start and control unit without Y/D
connectors and Y/D timer.
The start and control unit has the following components:
1.
Transformer (TR1).
The transformer is a multi-transformer with terminals for several different
supply voltages, marked on the upper side of the transformer.
NOTE!
Ensure that the connection matches the actual supply voltage. The
secondary voltage is always 24 V AC.
2.
Reset relay (K5).
3.
Transformer, primary fuses F2 and F3, both 6 A.
4.
Timer for Y/D switching (K4T).
5.
Y-contactor (K3).
6.
D-contactor (K2).
7.
Main contactor (K1).
8.
Motor overload relay with manual reset button (S1F).
9.
Grounding cables.
10.
Emergency switch for 3-phase supply.
11.
Terminals 1 and 2 for 24 V AC accessory supply. Fuse F5 on terminal 1,
1 A, fast.
12.
Terminals 3 and 4 for the Pilot Signal (PS) cable. Fuse F6 on terminal 3,
1 A, fast.
NOTE!
Use a jumper on terminals 3–4 if a PS cable is
NOT
used.
13.
Other terminals required by some accessories, all 24 V AC.
14.
Transformer secondary fuse F4, 4 A, slow.
15.
Filter Cleaning Relay (FCR). Normal settings: T
on
=4 s. T
off
=1 h.
16.
Start/Stop Relay (SSR) for automatic start and stop by means of a PS
cable. Normal setting=10 minutes.
17.
Duty/Idle Relay (DIR) for automatic switching to idling mode. Normal
