11.3.2 Service Conditions for MG External Hold-tone
1.
This feature is effective when “Music-on-Hold service” is effective (ASYD SYS1 Index64 bit7=1).
2.
Each MG-BRI can choose which Hold-tone to send out per each equipment basis by the data assignment
of AMGIL command. This assignment takes precedence over the data assigned for (ASYDL SYS1
Index810 bit2). This System Data will be used to choose the Hold-tone when nothing is assigned for
AMGIL command.
3.
MG-BRI External Hold-tone will be used.in case Telephony Server External Hold-tone is assigned to be
used but it cannot be used (No IPPAD circuit card, All busy).
4.
When MG-BRI External Hold-tone is selected but nothing is connected to MG-BRI External input con-
nector, MG-BRI will select the Internal Hold-tone 1.
If External input connector is connected after that, MG-BRI can then select the External Hold-tone.
5.
For Hold-tone to be used per each MG-BRI, Hold-tone can be chosen from Telephony Server External
Hold-tone (External Hold-tone, Expanded Hold-tone) or MG-BRI External Hold-tone.
But Telephony Server External Hold-tone (External Hold-tone, Expanded Hold-tone or External
expanded Hold-tone) cannot be shared within the same MG-BRI.
6.
When MG-BRI External Hold-tone is selected, Gain value can be assigned to each MG-BRI individually
by the setting of AMGIL command.
