MG-BRI
Note 2:
SP-PHI, which can be used as registration destination for MG-BRI, is accommodated in, and controlled by
MPH. MPH needs Internal PHE to be activated. Therefore, if you want to use SP-PHI as registration des-
tination for MG-BRI, data assignment for MPH and Internal PHE is necessary as well as SP-PHI. About
the procedure for the data assignment and explanation of each PH, refer to Vol.1, Chapter 2, “2. IP Related
Basic Programming” in this manual.
11.1.1 Other Features
<MG External Hold-Tone>
When station is connected to outer-office terminal through the MG-BRI and holds a call, MG-BRI out-
puts the Hold-tone. MG-BRI can output two kinds of Hold-tones. One is MG-BRI Internal Hold-tones
(2 kinds), which MG-BRI equips internally and other will be External Hold-tone input from the MUSIC
connector jack of MG-BRI backplane. MG-BRI Internal Hold-tone is used in normal circumstances,
though External Hold-tone can be used when jack was inserted to the backplane connector. In this situ-
ation, Gain value of external sound source can be assigned per MG-BRI. Two kinds of Internal Hold-
tone can be selected by using the AMGIL command.
<MG Emergency Telephone>
By connecting an ISDN terminal (or TA + Analog Telephone) to the EMA_TEL connector of MG-BRI,
Telephone function can be ensured by connecting the ISDN terminal (or TA + Analog Telephone) di-
rectly to the ISDN network when MG-BRI is not operating normally or in faulty cases.
