1.4.6 How to Change Area ID Data
By setting the Area ID data, audible tone such as Dial Tone or Ring Back Tone and the ringing pattern to be
used by DtermIP/IP Enabled Dterm can be changed on an area (a country) basis. To set the Area ID data, follow
the procedure below.
Note:
This Area ID data except "0. Automatic (Factory value)" set from the terminal has precedence over the Sys-
tem Data.

STEP 2: Open the Administrator Menu by pressing "Hold"+"#"+"0" on the User Menu.
STEP 3: Select "3. Area ID" by pressing "3" key on the Administrator Menu.
STEP 4: The display changes as follows. Choose the area (country) for using the terminal by
pressing 0~9 keys and then press "#" key.

Two items are displayed
on the terminal.
The following Administrator Menu is displayed.

The Maximum of 3 digits can be entered when selecting the area (country). For example,
when selecting "3. Australia", press "3 + #", "0 + 3 + #" or "0 + 0 + 3 + #".
STEP 1: Open the User Menu by pressing "Hold" + "Transfer" + "*" + "#" on the terminal
while indicating time, an error message, or "DHCP Connecting.../DRS (1st) Connecting...".
Note:
When pressing the keys other than "0~9" and "#" during entering 3 digits,
the already entered digits are all cleared.
Note:
When using Backup DRS, "DRS(2nd) Connecting...", "DRS(3rd) Connecting...", or "DRS(4th) Connecting..."
will be displayed instead of "DRS(1st) Connecting...".
