12.3.4 Configuration Command Assignment
Assign the configuration data by command operation on maintenance console.
Note:
“SIP server” used in this section refers to the Telephony Server. The Telephony Server acts as SIP server
for MG(BRI) using SIP.
Note:
The setting data here is an example. Assign the network data adjusting to your network configuration.
STEP 1: Boot Program starts by turning the power ON or pressing RESET button on the front panel.
STEP 2: Press ESC key when the starting boot program message shown below appears.
Main menu of boot mode is displayed and configuration command entry is available on the mainte-
nance console.
STEP 3: Enter “1”
after [Input:] then
press Enter key.
STEP 4: Main menu of the configuration mode appears. Enter “1”
after [Input:] then
press Enter key to start
Standard mode.
Note:
Configuration command has two modes; Standard mode and Custom mode. Use Standard mode when start-
ing up MG(BRI) for the first time to assign the basic data for connecting network. See
for the detailed information of each command.
STEP 5: Assign whether DHCP server and DNS server are used or not.
(1) DHCP server enable/disable setting
(2) DNS server enable/disable setting
