Installation of SFP modules
Make sure to follow the instructions below to use the card safely. There is a risk of
death or serious injury. For more information, see the descriptions from page 55.
● Do not look directly at the laser
The SFP modules shipped with this product are classified as a CLASS 1 LASER
PRODUCT. However, looking at them within a distance of 20 cm may damage
your eyesight. Do not look into SFP module ports during system operation.
Unused SFP modules should be covered by dust covers (rubber caps) to protect
the connectors.
Installing an SFP module
To install an SFP module in this card, insert the SFP module into a communication port.

You cannot use any modules other than those shipped with this card or specified by
NEC.
