2.3 REPLACEMENT 

 

 

Refer to the Fig.1 and Fig.2. 

(1)  Put on the fingerstalls and attach the grounding band. 
(2) Turn 

the 

ionizer switch on. 

(3)  The LCD module should be kept turned off, and wait for a while until the backlight get cool down 

enough. 

(4)  Put the LCD module display side up on the flat workbench, which is equipped for static charge 

prevention.

 

(5)  Pull out the lamp cable plug from lamp connector in Figure. Do not fold the high voltage cable as 

sharp folds can cause permanent damage. 

(6)  Release the lamp holder from clamped portion

(7)  Slowly, gently and in a straight line pull out the lamp holder in the direction of the arrow

figure 2. If the lamp was broken inside of backlight lamp, carefully pull out the lamp holder. If 
pieces of glass remain inside the enclosure, carefully remove them. 

(8)  Slowly, gently and in a straight line push in the lamp holder in the direction of the arrow

(9)  Replace the lamp holder. The up side lamp holder is the same as down side. 
(10) Fix the lamp holder through the clamp position 

in figure 2. 

(11) Replace the lamp holder is possible to set in the upper side lamp and the lower side. 

 

3. DISPOSAL OF THE LAMP HOLDER 

 

The lamp holder includes cold cathode fluorescent lamps. Follow local ordinances or regulations for its 
disposal.
