NEAXMAIL AD-120 USER GUIDE
To return a call
You can immediately return a call to the person who left
you a message. Your system administrator can tell you
whether this feature is available to you.
With the call return feature, when you access your mailbox
from a touchtone phone, you can return a call after you lis-
ten to a message. Or, if your phone has Soft Keys, you can
return a call by pressing the CALL Soft Key on the phone.
You can return a call to another subscriber or to an exter-
nal caller.
To return a call to an external caller, NEAXMail AD-120
can use caller ID information received from your phone
service provider. Or, you can use NEAXMail Assistant to
set up the system to ask your callers to enter their phone
number before they are transferred to your extension. See
“To ask callers to enter a callback phone number” on
page 126.
If a returned call is not answered, after you disconnect, call
NEAXMail AD-120 again if you want to continue with using
the system by phone. Or, if the line is busy, NEAXMail
AD-120 tells you that the call could not be connected.
Then, NEAXMail AD-120 returns you to your voice mail-
box.
