External Battery Installation

Batteries that are purchased locally can be connected to
the system as external batteries.

Basic KSU

Connect cabling to the external batteries

as shown in

Figure 4-37 Connecting

Cables for External Batteries in the Basic
KSU

When installing external batteries, disconnect
the battery cable for the built-in batteries from
the BATTERY EXT connector of each KSU. When
the built-in batteries are connected with the
external batteries, a large charging current could
flow from the external batteries to the built-in
batteries and burn the battery cables.
