Intercom
An extension user can make an intercom call to a networked system if the networked extensions are
de

ned with the Network Access Code (Program 11-01, Dial Type = 8).
A user can change the signaling type for the intercom call they place to either a voice announce or
ringing call to extension in a networked system.
Conditions
●
The system does not support the use of the Voice Over feature to an extension across the
network.
Operation
To place an Intercom call:
1.
At keyset, press idle CALL key.
OR
At single line telephone, lift handset.
2.
Dial extension number (or 0 for your operator).
Your call may voice-announce or ring the called extension. Dial 1 to change the way
your call alerts the called extension.
If the extension you call is busy or doesn’t answer, you can dial another extension
without hanging up.
