CAUTION! Damage hazard
• All cables of power connections shorter than 1
m must have a minimum cross-section of 35
mm².
Cables longer than 1
m must have a minimum cross-section of 50
mm².
• Install a 200
A inline fuse on the positive cables of both batteries.
4. Remove the three M6 nuts , , and .
5. Connect the starting battery positive , all loads and the house battery positive cables .
6. Install and tighten the three M6 nuts , , and .
7. Loosen the two pin terminal screws.
CAUTION! Damage hazard
To prevent damage to the equipment, the house battery negative must be connected at the end of the in-
stallation.
8. Connect the D+ signal wire to pin and the house battery negative wire to pin .
9. Tighten the two pin terminal screws.
Note
As soon as the ground cable is connected to the battery, it becomes operational.
10. Install the lid and secure it with the two screws.
Display installation
1.
Slide the bracket down .
2. Tilt the bracket away from the display .
3. Slide the bracket up .
4. Using the bracket mark the screw holes and the cable passage hole on the mounting surface.
5. Drill the screw holes and the cable passage hole .
6. Pull the communication cable through the passage hole both on the mounting surface and the bracket.
7. Mount the bracket on the mounting surface using the supplied screws.
8. Connect the connection cable to the display .
9. Mount the display on the bracket.
10. Connect the connection cable to the control unit .
9 Connecting batteries in parallel
Note
To increase the ampere-hour (Ah) capacity, two batteries can be connected in parallel.
