Flagged List
: The
Flagged List
is a list of all acquired PrPD
acquisitions. Selecting an acquisition from that list will display its
wave trains in the right side graph.
Measurement Comments
: The comment box is used to insert any
comment for a particular acquisition.
Measurement Details
: The measurement details box displays the
acoustic channel gain used, phase sync method used, line
frequency, cycle count and sensors positions.
3D transformer tank representation
: The 3-dimensional graph
representation of the transformer tank displays the tank outline
with the four AE-150 acoustic sensor locations.
Amplitude/Phase angle graph
: The Amplitude/Phase angle graph
displays one acoustic or PD channel acquired data. To change the
displayed channel, select a different bullet just above the graph
(AE1, AE2, AE3, AE4 or PD). The X-axis represents the phase angle,
and the Y-axis represents the amplitude of the signal. Every dot of
this graph is the accumulated result of multiple cycles. The color of
the acquired signal is related to the number of occurrences at a
particular amplitude and phase angle. Adjusting the right side
occurrences slider helps to identify occurrence intensity in order to
find PD pattern.
Cursor and trigger window
: Once a PD pattern of interest is
determined, the cursors must be positioned. Click and drag the
vertical
Cursor A (Start)
and
Cursor B (End)
at the start and end of
the pattern. Click and drag the horizontal cursor at the desired
height, above noise level. The
Cursor A Angle
and
Cursor B Angle
fields display the angle at which vertical cursors are positioned.
Once all cursors are positioned, click the
Set Trigger Window
button; the values will be transferred to the
Control
tab.
o
Trend
: The
Trend
tab is where all PrPD data trend can be analyzed.
Sensors Position
: List of AE-150 positions.
Measurements
: Number of PrPD measurements taken from the
selected position.
Statistics
: PrPD statistical calculation list.
Qm (magnitude of the highest repetitive discharge):
The amplitude of the largest discharge with a repetition
rate higher than or equal to 10 pulses per second,
