4.4.9 Troubleshooting for the NaviCirc
Problems
Possible Cause(s)
Actions
The water from the tap is not hot
enough.
Full temperature water has not
reached the fixture.
Keep the fixture open to allow the hot water pipe to
purge.
The hot water temperature of the
boiler is set too low.
Set the water heater temperature to a higher
temperature.
The NaviCirc is not installed properly.
Contact Navien Technical Support.
The water from the tap is not hot
enough even when the boiler is
set at a high temperature.
The NaviCirc’s malfunction
Contact Navien Technical Support.
The water from the tap is too hot.
The boiler temperature is set too high. Adjust the boiler temperature.
Hot water comes out while cold
water is being used.
The NaviCirc is operating properly.

It is normal for some hot water to flow over to the
cold pipe during recirculation.
●
If the hot water discharge continues to come from
the cold water tap after installation, the NaviCirc
may require service.
The NaviCirc’s malfunction
Contact Navien Technical Support.
Noises occur after installation.
The flexible hoses may be bent.
Check if the flexible hoses are excessively bent. If other
noises occur, contact Navien Technical Support.
