4.4.8 Installing the Pressure Relief Valve
Install a pressure relief valve on the cold water supply pipe.

4.4.6 Checking for Water Leaks and Purging the
Air From Water Pipes
After the NaviCirc is installed, check for water leaks on the
connections of the NaviCirc and water pipes and purge the air
from all the water pipes.
1. Open hot and cold water shutoff valves.
2. Open hot and cold water taps.
3. Check if there are any leaks around the connected part of
the ½” flexible hose and ½” stainless cap.
Note
In case of leaks, close the shutoff valves and repair any
leaks.
4. Open the hot water and cold water taps to purge the air
from the water pipes.
CAUTION
Perform an air purge so that all residual air can be removed
from the water pipes. If the air purge is not performed long
enough, the NaviCirc may not function properly.
4.4.7 Using the Anti-Legionella Feature
To use the anti-legionella feature for the hot water return pipe,
you should preheat the hot water to 65°C or higher for more
than three times. To use Anti-Legionella function on secondary
return pipe, refer to the “10.6.3 Setting the DHW Operation” on
