Follow the heading pointer
Once GPS has been fixed, the heading pointer starts to
work. Make sure that the electronic compass has been
calibrated properly (See compass calibration detail at the
System Setting chapter) and watch is maintained in
horizontal position. Tilting away from horizon affects the
heading pointer accuracy. If everything is good, the pointer
always points to the active waypoint.
Your current speed and distance to active waypoint figures
are shown on top right of Navigation screen. Time of Day,
Workout Time, Distance to Destination, Estimated Time to
Destination, and Current HR are scrolling out one at a time
at the bottom line. If there is HR data not available, it will
not be shown at all. This item will be skipped.
If you are approaching the WP Radius of active waypoint, 3
beep tones will be heard. Beep tones will be suppressed if
the Key Tone setting is turned OFF. If you are navigating
with Forward / Backward mode, it directs to the next
waypoint automatically. This process repeats until you arrive
to the final destination.
