6. With the audio input cables near their destination, cut each wire to the required length and
install connectors, as necessary.
7. Remove plastic cap-plugs from the connectors on the exciter panel, if applicable.
8. Connect the appropriate audio input cable(s) to the connector(s) shown in Figure 8.3 on
page 8-4 . Secure cables to the existing cabling and to the panel using arrowhead tyraps
(Nautel Part # HAC15) in the ancillary kit (see Figure 8.3 on page 8-4 to locate tyrap anchor
hole locations).
9. If you are using an external USB device as your playlist, connect the USB device to a USB
port on the SBC. Ensure the optional USB Sound Card is connected to another USB port on
the SBC and the output of the USB sound card is connected to one of the AES inputs on the
control/interface PWB. Refer to the Operations and Maintenance Manual for details on
using the Audio Player’s Playlist feature, available through the AUI.
