Network Setup - Using the Controller UI
From the controller’s UI, in local mode, you can set or change network settings. To view the
Network
Settings
screen, select
User Settings -> Network Settings
from the
Main Menu
for details on setting each parameter.
Use the up and down buttons to move the cursor to the desired parameter and then press the right
button to enable editing of the setting. Within any of the editing screens, use the left and right buttons
to select a character for editing and then use the up and down buttons to edit a setting. Press the
accept (checkmark) button to save the change. Press the cancel (
X
) button to discard changes and
return to the previous menu.
NOTE:
A nameserver (also called a DNS) translates a host name (e.g., mail.nautel.com) to an IP address
such as in configuring email (see
Email Configuration, on page 3.2.143
).
