Browsing the Library
The Browser is the place where you can find and load Instruments and Preset Files in KOM-
PLETE KONTROL as well as organizing your own Preset files. You will at first learn about the
Browser basics followed by explaining the browsing workflows. This section details both, the
workflows in the software and on the keyboard side by side.
Browse Mode Keyboard is the preferred for the Workflow Descriptions
When browsing with the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series keyboard it is recommended to use
Browse Mode Keyboard as it enhances the user experience compared to the on-screen overlay.
Therefore this section describes the workflows using Browse Mode Keyboard which needs to be

10.1.1 Browse Modes
KOMPLETE KONTROL provides two ways of browsing with the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series
keyboard, called Browse Modes:

By default, pressing the
BROWSE
button calls up the on-screen overlay on the computer
screen, which gives you a full overview over the current state of the Browser, controlled
from the
NAVIGATE
section on the keyboard. The KOMPLETE KONTROL Browser workflow
with the on-screen overlay is described in detail in the following chapters.
