National Ramp New Elbow Quick Installation Guide (part number 2470-01)
Thank you for purchasing from National Ramp! This quick installation guide will focus on how to install the
new elbow. Check fit and trim handrails if necessary before installing the new elbow.
Tools Required:
3/16 allen wrench/bit
Pipe cutter/hacksaw/table saw (if cutting is required)
Sanding/Filing tool (to remove burs and sharp edges after cutting)
Instructions:
1.
Remove the two halves of the elbow
from packaging. One half will have the
nut and bolt to join the two halves.
2.
Insert first half of the elbow into first
adjoining handrail.
3.
Lock elbow into handrail by tightening
allen bolt (clockwise).
Tip
: Do not fully tighten until fit/alignment has
been confirmed.
Do not use power tools to tighten. Do not over
tighten.
