Appendix

This appendix explains how to uninstall your serial hardware and
NI Serial software.

Removing the Hardware Information

Before physically removing the serial hardware from the computer, you
must remove the hardware information from the Windows NT Control
Panel.

Follow these steps to uninstall the hardware.

1.

Double-click on the niports icon under Start»Settings»Control
Panel.

2.

Select the port to remove from the list of ports as shown in
Figure C-1.
