2.2 Overview
2624/2 centrifuge has been designed to be used in biology, chemistry, genetics,
immunology and other fields in which the use of conventional centrifuges for separation and
sedimentation of samples is required. For configuration of the equipment please refer to the
point 3 “Rotor type and technical parameters”
2.3 Structure
This equipment consists of the following parts: cover, Shell and base, inner chamber,
mechanical components (motor and rotor), electrical components (power, display and control
system) and other components as alarm system.

The cover system includes the lid, hinges and springs, locking system, alarm and
emergency opening. The hinges are at the back side and the locking system in the front
side; only when the lid is closed the centrifuge can start running, otherwise the alarm
system (sound) will activate and operation will not be able to start.

To open the lid, press the lid open button on the control panel
