Ensure that all safety controls are operational.

Check the high limit temperature switch.
•
Ensure that there are no gas leaks in the piping (fittings and valves).
•
Inspect all electric connections.
•
Ensure that the blower and motor are firmly anchored.
•
Inspect the flame detector and pilot ignitor electrode; change if
necessary.
•
Inspect the burner and clean the orifices if necessary.
