LOADING BATTERIES INTO THE REMOTE CONTROL

Remove the battery compartment cover.

Load two AAA (UM-4 or R03) batteries into the
battery compartment.

Check that batteries are fitted correctly and that
the polarity of the batteries matches the polarity
indicated in the battery compartment. Replace
the battery compartment cover.

Always replace both batteries. Do not mix new
and used batteries as this will reduce the
operating period.

Remove the batteries if the unit is not be used
for a prolonged period of time.

Loading batteries into the remote control

The remote control transmits a directional
infrared beam. Be sure to aim the remote
control directly at the infrared sensor of the
unit during operation.

If th e sensor has been covered or there is a
large object between the remote control and
the sensor, the sensor may not respond.

The sensor m ay not able to receive the
remote signal when i t isexposed to direct
sunlight or a strong artificial light (fluorescent
or strobe light). I n these instances, change the
direction of the light or reposition the unit to
avoid direct lighting.
