Creating the Global Array Manager (GAM) Server Diskette
Before installing the GAM Server for SCO UNIX, a diskette must be created
according to the instructions below.
This diskette will be used wherever instructed to insert the “GAM Server
diskette for SCO UNIX.”
1. Insert a DOS formatted diskette into drive A.
2. Insert the Mylex supplied CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
3. From the DOS prompt type
F:\gam\sco\gamssco5 a: <Enter>
where F: is the name of CD-ROM drive.
4. You will get a message asking if you want the disk to be overwritten to
continue. Type Y for Yes and press <Enter>.
5. Label this disk as “GAM Server diskette for SCO UNIX” and save
until needed.
