2.2.6 Battery Replacement

Purpose: Describes how to change the battery.

Caution:  While  the  battery  is  being  changed,  the  MP2000E  cannot  provide
backup  power.  This  procedure  should  not  be  done  while  critical  loads  are
running that depend upon the MP2000E’s backup power.

BATTERY CHANGING PROCEDURE

NOTE: The ALARM LED remains ON during this procedure.

START

Turn OFF the battery circuit breaker

Unplug the old battery

Plug in the New Battery

Turn ON the battery circuit breaker

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
