7. Connections and Operation
Notes: 1) Speakers shown above represent active speakers.
2) HDMI sources may include DVD Players, Blu-ray Players, Medi Players, Set Top Boxes, Game consoles, PCs, etc.
1.
Make sure all equipment is powered off. Connect all cables carefully with the power SWITCHED OFF.
Connecting and disconnecting cables while the unit is powered can result in damage to equipment.

Connect up to 4 sources such as a Blu-Ray Player, Media Players, Game Consoles, TV Set Top Boxes, etc. to
the HDMI inputs on the unit. Note that high-quality HDMI cables are recommended.

Connect the HDMI output ports to 1080p or 4K HDMI Displays/TVs or Projectors. Note that high-quality
HDMI cables are recommended.

Connect the TosLink Optical audio output port to an AV Receiver/Amplifier, and/or connect the 3.5mm
L/R analog audio output port to active speakers.

For power, plug in power adapter to the unit power jack first, and then plug in the power adapter to the
AC wall outlet.

If additional devices need to be added later, follow the same sequence as above.

At this point each display connected should display the assigned source (Input 1 by default when powered
on initially), scroll through each of the sources on each display to ensure everything is in proper working
order. Use the included IR remote to test the switching function. If a display is having difficulty receiving
the HDMI
signal, access the display’s menu and adjust the resolution (lowest to highest until
the signal is
displayed). Please note that a 24 Hz vertical refresh rate may work better than 60 Hz or higher.
