Setup 28: Heater Control
Choose the appropriate heater mode for your media being loaded.
If the media cockling is visible on the print, you can reduce it by selecting the
appropriate heater mode.
Setting values
If you are using the non-heat sensitive
media, choose the Normal mode.
This is the initially set value.
If you want to reduce time to start printing
and make media cockling less visible,
choose the Fixer mode.
If you are using the take-up unit and want
to make media cockling less visible
without reducing drying performance,
choose the Dryer mode.
Setup 29: Start Feed
You can change the margin setting between images.
• Value greater than 0: The margin setting between images will be wider than when
setting “0”.
• Value equal to 0: The default margin setting between images will be applied.
• Value less than 0: The margin setting between images will be smaller than when setting
“0”.
Setting values
-10 mm to <0 mm> to 500.0 mm
<> indicates the initial value.
Note
With take-up system: if you want to set “Start Feed” to below 0, set “Page Gap” to “Narrow”.
If not, the Start Feed setting is not reflected properly.
