Adv. 7: Multi Layer
Enables or disables to print more than one image data on the same media layer
by layer.
Setting values
<Off> / On
<> indicates the default setting.
Note
• If you select “Off”, the printer will ask you to remove media after printing one data and load a new media to print next data.
• If you select “On”, just sending the next data to the printer, you can print more than one data on the same area of the media.
•
In the case of “Adjust Print”, “PF Adjust” or “Test Print”, you will have to set the media in place again even if you select “On” for this.
Adv. 8: White Maintenance
Sets up white ink’s maintenance operation.
• If you do not usually use white ink for regular printing, set to “Little” to
minimize white ink consumption in standby status.
• This menu will only appear in 6-color configuration.
Setting values
White ink maintenance operation will be
carried out at a normal frequency.
This is the default setting.
White ink maintenance operation will be
carried out at a lower frequency.
Note
White ink tends to settle or coagulate inside the print head or ink tubes.
Therefore, the printer regularly discharges a small amount of white ink to maintain the performance, even in standby status.
