44 Changing the Head Height
If media is lifted or when printing that use a large amount of ink is conducted, the media rubs against the print head and
becomes dirty. In such a case, it may improve by setting the print head height high.
When the print head height is changed, always perform print quality adjustment.
Important!
Do not open Front cover and change the head height during printing.
If the head height is changed, the adjustment will be changed and high print quality will not be guaranteed.
Changing the Head Height
Procedure

Open the front cover.

Change the head height by moving Head height adjustment lever
(orange).
• When the Head height is set to “Low”:
Low lamp on Operation panel lights up in green.
• When the Head height is set to “High”:
High lamp on Operation panel lights up in green.

Close the front cover.
[4]
Perform print quality adjustment.
