Replacing CR_HP sensor

T I P

Replacing Procedure For Maintenance Part:CR_HP Sensor, Lever Sensor.
This part will be referred to as the CR_HP sensor in this manual.

Remove I/H Cover.

"3.2.1 Removing I/H Cover" p.3-7

Remove Side Cover R.

"3.2.2 Remove Side Cover R" p.3-8

Move the Carriage to the opposite side of origin.

"3.7.1 How To Release Carriage Lock" p.3-98

Remove connector of CR Origin Sensor Cable Assy from CR_HP sensor.

Release the hook retaining CR_HP sensor, remove CR_HP sensor.

Replace CR_HP sensor.

To reassemble unit, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE

Apply threadlocker to the new CR_HP sensor when installing it.

Perform adjustments by following the instructions in

"4.2 Adjustment Item" p.4-2
